VINTAGE LOVERS!!!!!

WASSUP WASSSUP!!!!... Have we all recovered from Valentine fever?... Did you get anything fancy and (lol) have you harassed social media with it yet?... *chai! it was battle of the gifts this weekend... lol (from the comfort of my phone screen)* Well, I went for my church's singles and married valentines love ball.. We have one pretty much every year and I'll do a post on the event's highlights later in the week and my fine outfit (*lol* looking fly for Jesus, since he's my current bae). Maybe I'll do a throwback to two years ago and yesterday. Anyways!!! Are you in Wales? not particularly sure what to do this weekend or next?  Do you adore vintage clothing? SOMETHING FIERY

Do you remember those romance novels everyone (apart from me surprisingly) read in high school?... Well in my head I could be a cover girl for one of them books in this outfit. "There was something sultry about the way her flowy skirt moved in wind..." would be a line from this book... lol... This bardot bodysuit and skirt accentuated my curves (without a lot of skin) and I let my hair out to move freely in the wind, giving off just the right amount of fiery and decency (For a more formal look I would ditch the nose ring and put my hair up in a bun or wear a hat... but that's not what I was going for)... Enjoyy!!!!

Majority of my posts seem dressy and extra, with calculated hairstyles and outfits... but sometimes one just wants to be extra casual but still looking "take-away" (lol... my slangs are very core Nigerian) and that's what this day was all about... Infact, I had no intention of taking these pictures let alone  posting them (I was out taking pictures for my friend and fellow blogger thephoenixdreamr) but like I said, "Odikwa" looking take-away (I hope I've used the word in the right context, it just sounds nice/right to me)...

WIG IT!!!!

 

Hey hey Hey!!!!... I'm sure if you've gone through my posts you know I'm a hairdresser... I make wigs, weaves, braids, twists, locks, twistouts and puffs... Long story short I woke up on this particular day and I just wanted to switch things up, so I unloaded a box of old unused chocolate weaves, my needle and thread, "Dolapo" my foam mannequin head, curling wand and my adorbs floral dress  and VOILA!!!...

These pictures were taking in the fall (maybe winter of 2014, so they're old), and the whole outfit, complete with the coat, cost less than £45 (true story)... As I was putting up my earlier post I saw these photos, thought them cute and decided to post them as well to re-iterate my MINIMALIST HYPE.

But this outfit to me brings out the beauty of/in simplicity, everything is over a year old and worn in the least attention grabbing manner possible but still won't go unnoticed...
