WASSUP WASSSUP!!!!... Have we all recovered from Valentine fever?... Did you get anything fancy and (lol) have you harassed social media with it yet?... *chai! it was battle of the gifts this weekend... lol (from the comfort of my phone screen)* Well, I went for my church's singles and married valentines love ball.. We have one pretty much every year and I'll do a post on the event's highlights later in the week and my fine outfit (*lol* looking fly for Jesus, since he's my current bae). OH NO!!! Synthetic Allergies?

HELLO!!!!!!... Hope everyone's week is going fantabulous... Ok, so staright into today's post. Last Tuesday, I had a client booked in for faux dreadlocs (you can view my post on faux locs as a protective style here and the images of this particular and other finished works here ) and after about 8 - 10 hours, we were through. Prior to the day of installation, we had had a consultation and I'd briefed her on what to expect from the hair, the cost and how long it would last... She was prepared for all the pros and cons of freshly loced hair, but what we never expected was the ITCH!

Hiyaaaaaa!!!! So, this just an update on me and what not. I've been away from my regular lungu (Swansea), because uni's on break... Was meant to go to China for the month of July but the travel gods weren't really in my favour so I ended up in Lagos (my HOME)... and am an IJGB!!!!...

Hello!!!! You may or may not know that I am a HUGE Yoruba Nolly and Kunle Afolayan fan (maybe because I'm currently outside of my home and country), I feel they're very comic, educational (my own opinion and contrary to popular belief, also doesn't apply to all of the movies) and makes me feel closer to Yoruba as my language (yes, I use Yoruba nolly to practice my Yoruba)...

Majority of my posts seem dressy and extra, with calculated hairstyles and outfits... but sometimes one just wants to be extra casual but still looking "take-away" (lol... my slangs are very core Nigerian) and that's what this day was all about... Infact, I had no intention of taking these pictures let alone  posting them (I was out taking pictures for my friend and fellow blogger thephoenixdreamr) but like I said, "Odikwa" looking take-away (I hope I've used the word in the right context, it just sounds nice/right to me)...
